Aunt Whit is here
Aunt Whit is here for a four day visit. She is helping mommy and daddy out with feeding me, burping me (she slowly is getting better), and changing me. What a treat to have her here.

Thanks Katie and Keenan!
Mommy and daddy really appreciated and enjoyed the meal from Bertucci's. What a treat for them to have dinner show up at the door. Thank you very much.

Great weekend with Grandpa and Grandma
Even though it was a quick visit, it was nice to meet my grandparents. They even watched me for a couple of hours on sunday when mommy and daddy ran some errands. Sunday morning I also had the opportunity to meet my great uncle Paul and Margaret.

Grandpa and Grandma are coming today
Grandpa and Grandma arrive today for a quick visit. Mommy is giving me a bath today and then dressing me up real pretty because she knows grandma is going to take a lot of pictures. After my trip to the ER earlier in the week, I am doing better and my bilirubin count is going down. Also, I am almost back up to my full birth weight. The weather has been so nice here this week that mommy and daddy took me for my first walk.
Daddy is getting really good at swaddling me!

Going Home
It felt good to get out of the hospital, especially since mommy and me have been trapped in our area and we couldn't leave the floor. Because I was smaller than mommy thought I was going to be (she hoped I was a twenty pound baby so she wouldn't have to lose as much weight), the outfit that she had picked out for me was to big, so we had so go with something that fit me better. I look so tiny in my car seat.
Looking back on Monday, May 16th
What a day yesterday was. We were discharged from the hospital at three o'clock in the afternoon, only to head back to the ER at night. We were so happy to leave the hospital and get back to our pla
ce. Later in the evening mommy and daddy thought something just wasn't right with the way I was acting- they thought I was acting to lethargic. Daddy took my temperature under my armpit, and it said 95.6 which was to low. He called our pediatrician, and she said to take a rectal temperature which was 96.2. So it was off to the ER at the recommendation of the doctor. After being checked out by the doctors and being poked for blood work, it turns our my bilirubin count was still high, which was effecting the jaundice that I was battling. If the bilirubin count was a little higher I would have been admitted, but luckily mommy and daddy were able to leave the hospital with me at 3 am. We have an appointment with my pediatrician today where we hope to get more answers.
On a different note, we have had some great visitors so far.........
