A Month of Pictures

Its been awhile since I've put up some pictures, so here are a bunch from the past month.
Sitting with my dolls- the twins Thomas and Tina-
Cleaning Tina's face-
Doing some climbing at the park-

Another day riding the train-

This past weekend was Boo at the Zoo- trick or treating at the Greenville Zoo. I had a lot of fun getting all sorts of candy but I really liked seeing the animals, especially the giraffes. My favorite stuffed animal is a giraffe so to see them in person put a big smile on my face.
In my costume ready to go-

Choo choo!!

What a fun day at the park yesterday. Mommy and daddy took me to a park that also has miniature train rides. I love trains so this was a great treat. I was a little unsure of what to make of it at first, so on the first train ride I was kind of out of it. After getting off the train and watching it for awhile, I was excited to ride it again. It was fun waving to everyone watching the train. I even got to sit in the conductors seat, but that was scary because the engine was loud.

We are in South Carolina now

It's been awhile since I've done a post, and its been a very busy past month. We are in South Carolina now, but we will miss our time in Arlington, Virginia.
We had some more stops on our farewell tour, including a visit to Richmond to see the Johnson family. Everyone was there so we had a great time visiting with all.
With Alyson-
 With Ingrid-
One last visit to the local park. We are going to miss how close the parks were to us.

We packed up all of our stuff into a POD. It was a crazy week of packing everything up, especially the twenty-four hours that mommy and daddy had to pack up the POD. Grams came up to and was a big help.
Mommy and I flew down to South Carolina and before daddy drove the car down, he flew up to Boston for a surprise retirement party for Grandpa Winton. Grandpa was surprised to see everyone there.
Daddy with his brothers and sisters-
Finally, I've already started going to a school down here. Mommy had me all decked out in a Lilly dress for my first day.

The farewell tour has begun

Yesterday we went over to my Great-uncle Paul's house for the afternoon. We all had a blast at the pool, then Paul and Margaret cooked us a great meal. Its been a lot of fun being able to spend time with them the past couple of years. We will miss our get togethers.

Our trip to New Jersey

Last month we went up to New Jersey for a long weekend. Though it was for a somber occasion, a memorial service for Great-Pops, we had a great time visiting with everyone. All the young cousins and second-cousins had a blast playing together at the hotel.
Trying to get eight young kids to sit together for a picture-
Grandma Dewitt made matching tops for me and Emma-
Rest in peace Great-Pops. You will be missed

Surgery went well

This morning we were at the hospital at 6:00 so I could have my adenoids removed. Mommy had been a nervous wreck for the past week, but she didn't have to worry because I'm a tough little girl. They started the procedure at 8, and mommy and daddy had to wait an hour before they could see me again. An hour after that, we were leaving the hospital, and then I was back home playing like nothing happened. Last year it was tubes in my years, this year adenoids removed, and hopefully next year it's nothing.
The hospital had a wagon for me to ride around in while we were waiting for my turn in the operating room.
I wanted a turn pulling the wagon-

Daddy dressed up like a marshmallow to bring me back to the operating room-

I Love the Pool

It is so much fun going down to our pool. Mommy has been very patient with me. She has been wanting for me to swim around in the pool with her but until recently I've just wanted to sit on the steps and play with my toys. Not anymore! I love jumping off the edge into mommy's arms and swimming around. Each day that we go down there, I kick my legs more and more when I swim around. I've also gotten better at jumping from the edge. I was jumping straight up instead of out, which had mommy nervous that I would hit the edge. There were some close calls, but no accidents.

It was a fun 4th!

What a day it was. First, Aunt Whitney and Zach came up for four days. It was good to see them and spend time sight-seeing with them. I loved going to the water-park in the afternoon. It's a lot of fun running around the water-park. We all went out to eat in the evening and then mommy and I watched the fireworks from our rooftop.

Splash Park!!!

This past weekend, a splash park opened up a block away from us. We went both days, but Sunday I was like a kid in a candy store. I didn't know what to make of it on Saturday so I really just stuck to one area.

Sunday was a blast. I spent over an hour running around the park getting soaked!
