A fun Saturday with extended family

Yesterday we made the drive down to Glen Allen to visit daddy's Uncle Scott, Aunt Ingrid, and cousin Alyson. The ride down wasn't fun because we had to deal with a lot of traffic but it felt good to get out of the car when we finally arrived. It took awhile to get used to three big dogs, but they were very good with me, especially Charlie. His fur was so nice to touch. We had a great meal down there and Alyson sent me home with an amazing treat. She passed on her Bitty Baby stuff, and some American girl clothes too. Mommy and I are going to have a lot of fun playing with it. Thanks Alyson.

15 Month Check-up and some recent pics

Yesterday I had my 15 month check-up. I'm just shy of 30 inches tall (25th percentile), and I weigh 25 pounds, 2 ounces (80th percentile). My head circumference is in the 95th percentile- Dr. Gallagher jokingly says my head is already adult size! At the end of this month I'm having tubes put in my ears to help with all the ear infections I've been having. Let's hope it works.

I'm going to miss my Great-Grandma King

Sadly my Great-Grandma King passed away last week. She was always so happy to see me. When mommy and daddy brought me down to South Carolina when I was a month old, she was nervous about holding me because I was so small. She ended up loving holding me, especially when I would open my eyes and look up at her. I had a great time visiting with her at the beach last month, especially eating cereal together the last morning. She will be missed.
