I'm ready for the beach

My bags are packed and I'm ready to head to the beach with mommy. We are off to the coast of South Carolina to vacation with the first family. Daddy can't come because he can't get the time off from work. I'm going to miss you daddy.

SQUEAKERS!!!!

I love walking the halls of our complex! It's so much fun cruising around everywhere. Mommy and daddy like when I wear my squeaker shoes because they always know where I am in the apartment. No more disappearing when they turn their backs.

Walking

I started taking steps last month, but I never ventured out to far. Each week that went by I got a little bit bolder, and then starting this past Friday, I really started walking everywhere. I still realize that when I want to get somewhere in a hurry, its down to my hands and knees, and I can really motor along crawling. I think it took me a little bit longer to get walking because my body was still trying to catch up to my head. It's hard to stay balanced with a huge melon on your shoulders!

An update on me

This afternoon I was able to see my pediatrician, and I'm sick of seeing doctors. My viral infection that was a  slight case of pneumonia is now a case of full blown strep. My doctor said that the viral infection worked its way up from my stomach and settled in my throat. Its been a miserable couple of days in our house with everyone not getting any real sleep, but I'm on medicine now, so hopefully by tomorrow night everyone will be back to normal sleep patterns. Thankfully grandpa flew up to help mommy and daddy and take care of me during the day so they didn't have to miss work.
Anyone want what I'm baking? If you get it now it comes with a free case of strep!
